Case Study: Kasey Boone

The Client

Kasey Boone is an esthetician-turned-founder with 113K Instagram followers and a product line built for other estheticians — professionals who understand the difference a well-designed tool makes in a treatment room.

The Brief

She was launching the Masking Bowl, a dual-divot mixing bowl designed to cradle brushes during a facial, keeping the service clean, efficient, and elevated. She needed a complete asset suite for the launch: website imagery, organic social, paid ads, and product promo. Everything, from a single shoot day.

The Approach

We shot in Kasey's home treatment room, which grounded the imagery in the world her customers actually live in. Estheticians recognize a real treatment setup — the LED bed, the professional tools, the intentional environment. Shooting there said more than any studio could.

We built the shoot around three distinct content types:

  • Product — clean flat lays on marble and on Kasey's signature teal tapestry, the bowl styled with brushes, flowers, a singing bowl, and matcha. Hard natural light casting deliberate shadows, shot to work as both standalone product images and ad creative.

  • Lifestyle in use — hands scooping mask from the KB jar with a branded spatula, Kasey in a silk robe using the facial tool with a matcha in hand, morning light cutting across her face. The ritual made visible and desirable.

  • Founder — Kasey in her treatment room, full energy, the space as backdrop. Joyful, magnetic, completely herself. The kind of founder image that makes other estheticians want to trust her and buy from her in the same moment.

The Outcome

Kasey launched the Masking Bowl to her 100K audience with a full content library ready across every channel. The product sells out consistently on drops. The website imagery and social assets are still live and in active use — a shoot from over a year ago that continues to do its job every time she restocks.
